Her career spans diverse settings—including schools, private practice, hospitals, and outpatient clinics—allowing her to support clients and families with a wide range of needs. For adult clients, Tara specializes in treating cognitive-communication, motor speech, voice, swallowing, and language disorders. Her skills were shaped by working at facilities such as Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific. She has extensive experience working with individuals affected by neurodegenerative diseases, acquired brain injuries, and functional neurological disorders. For pediatric clients, Tara has a special interest in early language development, receptive/expressive language, articulation, phonology, fluency, social communication, and literacy.
