Michelle Lowry
Michelle Lowry, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with extensive experience supporting children, teens, and adults in building meaningful communication skills. Over the years, she has worked in schools, private practice, acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation settings, which has given her a wide perspective on communication across the lifespan. Her background includes specialized training in autism support, early language development, articulation therapy, phonemic and phonological awareness, social communication, and cognitive-communication rehabilitation. Michelle is also deeply interested in integrating creativity, movement, breath, and sensory awareness into therapy to make sessions both effective and engaging. As a certified yoga instructor, she's found that use of breath and movement aids in nervous system regulation, resulting in increased participation and retention of the content presented during speech therapy sessions.
