My Approach To Speech Therapy

My approach to speech therapy is holistic and family-focused with an emphasis on promoting safe feeding skills and nurturing communication growth. Using evidence-based practices, I create personalized therapy plans tailored to each child’s unique needs. I believe that a joyful and curious environment is essential for a child’s success in learning. Sessions are child-centered and rooted in play, equipping families with practical strategies woven into everyday routines.

What A Session Looks Like With Me

Therapy sessions with me are playful and engaging, blending your child’s interests with targeted activities to strengthen their abilities and reach our goals. We will use books, games, or items from your home to explore fun and meaningful activities that naturally enhance feeding and communication. I strive to create a warm and supportive space where your child can build skills, achieve developmental milestones, and gain confidence along the way.

Fun Facts About Amanda

I was in plays and musicals from kindergarten through college and today you will often find me driving my own children to their play rehearsals or en route to see a live performance at our local theater.
