Alyssa Ellingboe

Welcome to Lynden Speech Therapy! Alyssa Ellingboe, M.A., CCC-SLP, is a licensed Speech & Language Pathologist and married mom of four located in Lynden, WA. She is a member of both the Washington State Speech and Hearing Association and American Speech and Hearing Association. Alyssa enjoys working with children with autism, as well as with preschool and school-aged children who struggle with articulation and phonological disorders, executive functioning, and language disorders.

My Approach To Speech Therapy

I use a play-based therapy style that helps children feel engaged and stay motivated. Through games, interactive activities and positive reinforcement, I create a supportive environment where children feel confident to practice and grow their communication skills. My goal is to make speech therapy both effective and enjoyable, so progress feels natural and rewarding.

What A Session Looks Like With Alyssa

A typical 30 minute session takes place in your home, where your child reels most comfortable. Therapy is play-based, and sessions often end with 'homework' for parent and child, which is intended to reinforce therapy goals, maximize progress and carry skills into daily routines.

Fun Facts About Alyssa

When I am not working with children, you'll usually find me digging in the garden, curled up with a good book, playing with my farm animals or enjoying time with my family. I love learning new things and being creative - and I bring that same energy and fun into every session!
