Lauren Brasfield

Lauren helps individuals with neurological conditions regain independence, confidence, and quality of life. She specializes in supporting people with neurodegenerative conditions (such as Parkinson’s Disease and dementia) and acquired brain injuries (including stroke and TBI). She is a Certified Speak Out! Provider with Parkinson's Voice Project and a Licensed LoveYourBrain Yoga Instructor.

Lauren's background is in neurological rehabilitation with a focus on rebuilding speech, voice, swallowing, language, and cognitive skills. She also provides caregiver and family training so skills carry over into daily life, promoting safety, independence, and long-term progress at home and in the community.

In addition to traditional therapy, Lauren specializes in community re-entry and vocational rehabilitation for individuals preparing to return to work, volunteer roles, or community engagement. Together, Lauren helps identify your strengths, assess job-site and work demands, determine appropriate accommodations, and create a structured return-to-work plan. If you are currently employed, this is a service for you as well to maintain your employment and quality of work. She is here to support your communication with your physicians, HR and management so your voice is heard and your needs are understood and honored.
