
Katherine Shore
Katie has over 5 years of experience in the field of Speech-Language Pathology specializing in the evaluation and treatment of adults with cognitive-linguistic impairments, dysphagia, dysarthria, aphasia, apraxia, neurodegenerative conditions, and voice disorders. She has experience in various settings including acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient therapy, and home health. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and was recently honored as a distinguished early career professional. She holds a BS in Speech and Hearing Science and an MS in Communication Disorders from Arizona State University. While completing her undergraduate coursework, she conducted research on mTBIs in the veteran population, and in 2020, she was certified as a brain injury specialist by the Brain Injury Association of America. While at Mayo Clinic, Katie co-founded the PPA Support Group, where she organized monthly meetings to connect patients and their caregivers with essential resources and educational support. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, mountain biking, and traveling.
